This small company is just in the beginning stages being founded in the summer of 2009 by owners Ben and Kim Dietrich, proud parents of Brandon and Jacob. The youngest, Jacob, as an infant suffered from a bad case of eczema. Turning to a naturopath for some relief, they were then forced to put him on a strict wheat-free diet. This is when Kim learned to make gluten-free options for the child which then turned into a thriving business of gluten-free mixes and bean blends.

McIntosh farms is a family farm located near Atwood Ontario, every animal is born and raised on our farm. We produce quality milk from our sheep dairy. We also raise pigs, sheep, goats and cattle the way nature intended. All animals are raised in the most humane way possible, free to roam out on pasture, there is no need for growth hormones or antibiotics. All animals eat a diet of grass or hay from birth to finish.

All our animals are "farm raised" with "antibiotic & hormone free" feed.

Since we believe in safe, healthy, locally grown food we were encouraged by the Home Grown and Buy Local, Buy Fresh movements. Like we say knowing where your meat comes from is a great thing, especially with so many meat products being imported into Canada. The flyer advertisements never say where your meat actually comes from. Knowing who raised the animals, where they were raised and how they are fed, adds that extra confidence and guarantees that consistent quality.

This family farm features a fruit winery, with tours available by appointment any time of the year, and tastings always available during hours of operation. Motorcoaches welcome throughout the year by appointment. During September and October, this farm is transformed with the splendour of harvest. Many autumn displays and activities such as wagon rides along the "Apple Tale Trail", scarecrowmaking, cornmaze, and children's playground make this the place to bring your family.
